STORY ARC I - NEW BEGINNINGS
"Another issue we face Nathaniel is in fact the Pack and Gang in the city. Through their foolish territory tantrums, their hierarchy has been... altered. The Dog Pack has elected new leaders of theirs whom I have yet to see, while the Wolf Gang has also aquired new alphas. Nathaniel, this worries me the most. Our old adversaries were predictable and had a habit of routine. I fear these new leaders may be unpredictable... and therefore we may be at great risk."

Ever since the disappearance of the humans and the formation of the three packs, leadership has only been a question of time. Over the years, scores of alphas, commanders and what have you have often risen and fell from the pedestal... often to a violent end. Bellatrix, Commander of the Survivor's Rebellion rides the ups and downs of their hierarchy and its consuquences wordlessly, but now the news she has reccieved is grim.
There has been no news of recent genocide on the pack's part or any territory skirmishs. No murders or forcing. Not even a scent. Nothing.
This more than anything disturbs Bellatrix. The news of yet again more new leaders of the conflicting packs is the only news. And she knows that this is merely the calm before the storm.
